TimeKeeper Server Software transforms any server computer into a timing appliance. Server software can use networks or devices like GPS receivers as time sources and can serve time over any protocol. Server software also archives records and performs visualization and time data analysis for whole networks.Browser-based administration
Rugged and high quality hardware base.
Enterprise quality chassis, networking, and GPS receiver.
Hot swappable power supplies and built in standard intelligent platform management (IPMI) are among the features that come with the high end chassis that is designed for a data-center environment. TimeKeeper Server software supplements this base by adding additional hardware monitoring. The base device also features significant computer and storage capability, so that the graphical environment and extensive data analysis capabilities execute in real-time and archival storage spans years of records. The GPS component combines an excellent receiver with an exceptionally stable OCXO. Networking hardware is rugged and powerful.
Access and control from one interface
A single web interface provides immediate clarity about the accuracy of each time source, network delay overhead, and clock behavior over time. The same view will also show client behavior for each client’s timing sources including clients of other sources.
Truly flexible timing solution
Reduce complexity and TCO
TimeKeeper Server software replaces costly hardware components, simplifies or even eliminates network changes needed to improve time quality, and facilitates building and managing resilient, fault tolerant time distribution networks.
TimeKeeper Compliance module
The clock sync compliance database
TimeKeeper Server Software is the base for TimeKeeper Compliance, an archival data base and clock analysis center to assist companies in addressing MiFIDII and FINRA clock regulations and for internal controls. With Compliance enabled, a TK Server instance can aggregate clock data from thousands of TimeKeeper Clients and provide query capability over multi-year records, automatic report generation, and archival record keeping.
PTP versus NTP
TimeKeeper Server Software can bring in time from GPS clocks, Pulse-Per-Second lines, IRIG or other specialized connectors and over Ethernet and Infiniband networks using either IEEE 1588 Precision Timing Protocol (PTP) or Network Time Protocol (NTP) or any combination. The Server can output both PTP and NTP on multiple network adaptors. Any network device hardware timing assist is used, transparently. One common configuration uses PTP from one source as the primary source and NTP from another source as a backup. It is easy to configure the server to serve PTP on multiple domains or NTP from multiple IPs, or to use PTP Telecom Profile or Hybrid mode. Time can come in via NTP and leave via multiple PTP domains – whatever suits the use.
